“Since 1998 we have been building a strong relationship with Microsoft as an independent software developer; most of our products are based on the Microsoft platform,” says Martin Cígler, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Solitea. “A year ago, through the acquisition of CDL SYSTEM, we entered the Microsoft Dynamics enterprise information systems segment, and strengthened our position through the acquisition of Dynamica and BI Experts towards the end of 2018. The WBI acquisition opens up the Slovak market and provides us with invaluable know-how in Dynamics AX. Thanks to WBI, we have gained many qualified experts and I look forward to working with them. The acquisition will enable us to achieve our vision of becoming the most important Microsoft partner in business information systems in our region.”
Solitea is one of the largest suppliers of accounting and enterprise resource planning systems for the commercial segment as well as for government and non-profit organizations. It provides iDoklad and Minimax cloud services to thousands of small businesses, offers turnkey outsourcing of salary administration and successfully implements large-scale, custom-made projects both domestically and abroad – for example the Czech electronic prescriptions (eRecept) and the implementation of information systems for TULLI (the Finnish customs administration).
“We are the leader in Dynamics business information system solutions in Slovakia and are active in the Czech Republic and other countries. Our portfolio includes also other Microsoft products such as SharePoint, Office 365, SQL etc.,” adds Dita Sirotová, co-founder and executive of WBI. “Our main assets are the people who form creative teams consisting of experienced professionals as well as young graduates. Solitea offers an immense opportunity to grow, to use one’s experience, to share know-how and to benefit from the synergies of a large group.”
“The Solitea Holding vision is to make business easier for enterprises of all sizes through its products and solutions. The WBI acquisition is another step towards reaching this goal, as a strategic investment opening up new markets and new opportunities for all group members,” says Martin Cígler. Nothing will change for WBI customers and business partners after the acquisition: the company is led by its original management, and the company’s focus remains the same.
Since its establishment in 1996, WBI, s.r.o. has strategically focused solely on the provision of solutions and services using Microsoft technologies, which are innovated and adapted to clients’ needs. WBI has a broad range of competencies and is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner - the highest partnership level. More than 40 professionals with expertise in Microsoft products work at WBI, and the company’s solutions have been successfully deployed in over a hundred Slovak and international companies. The most important references include Envien Group, Soitron, Imperial Tobacco Slovakia, HB Reavis, Safe Cronite, Marius Pedersen, E.H.C.S., a.s., University Hospital in Bratislava and other Slovak hospitals. WBI is the segment leader in Slovakia.
